Agni Siragugal

At Nritya Samsrti, we believe our dance school is a powerful medium to shape lives and uplift society. Agni Siragugal is our dedicated social service wing, driving our community and environmental initiatives through two distinct paths. The first, Sarithiram Pazhagu, bridges dance and history by using classical storytelling to teach core human values and the inspiring life lessons of great Indian leaders to students within our school and across local classrooms. The second, Kelada Manida, focuses on creating real change and making art welcoming to everyone through direct community service. Under this initiative, our students actively step out to organize blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, beach cleanups, school wall painting projects, and public advocacy campaigns like our awareness rally against public spitting, alongside regular food, grocery, clothes, and books donation drives across the city. Led by our founder, Smt. Vaidehi Harish, and student volunteers, this wing also conducts free weekly dance and value education classes at city corporation schools—teaching the poetry of Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiyar and the wisdom of the Thirukkural through movement—and hosts an annual, fully funded thematic dance ballet with free transportation for residents of local charitable homes to ensure the performing arts remain accessible to everyone.
